The seminar is gonna help you learn about:

  • Where do bodybuilding poses come from?

  • How did the sport of bodybuilding originate?

  • What do muscles “mean,” and how that is useful for your physique development?

  • What is the difference between how something looks and actual “aesthetics”?

  • What secrets can be learned that today’s fitness pop culture overlooks?

About the day

Athletes participating will meet ups for a brief introduction where you’ll find out about what you’re gonna see, and the reason why its so cool to know.

Then you will literally travel back in time through artistry, learning legends and historical perspectives about the sport you love from the ancient world. Each piece we have chosen because it offers you an important and vital piece of hard facts about what anyone interested in bodybuilding should know.

The casual “tour” ends with a follow up conversation, recapping highlights and equipping competitive bodybuilders with a more enriched perception of the work, and perhaps better tools to go further in the sport.

This seminar is limited to a maximum of 7 participants, so please get on board early. We will no doubt add additional dates due to popularity and interest.

About the Instructor

Christian+matyi.jpg

Christian Matyi (a/k/a “XN”) has been a coach, writer, researcher, lecturer, and leader in the New England world of bodybuilding for over 20 years. A competitor himself, Christian’s primary focus mentorship in bodybuilding and lifting has always been based in the “humanities side” of bodybuilding. He developed this tour over a decade ago, and has taken several teams of competitive bodybuilders and strength athletes on similar excursions.

Christian has coached over 30 teams of competitive athletes over the years, most within his organization, the PhysiQademy and its flagship competitive project, The Next Level Team Seminar. He is the host of a popular podcast called The Big Inside, where he explores the ideas found within the world of lifting and how they relate to everyday life. Currently, Christian works as a Creative Director in branding and design (and yes, his company Scorpio Creative helps shape the look of Saisei Sports!)

With mentorships of hundreds of successful athletes under his belt and a totally unique and deeply informed perspective on the sport, we’re excited to have Christian on board leading this project for Saisei Sports!
